I have always been a creative person, i loved drawing and painting, and then stumbled upon jewellery making! After lots of bad experiments and general feet finding, i discovered i loved working with wire and jumprings!!

Only having a 2 bed flat at the time and working from a box, i would buy pretty beads but not really have a direction. I realised that as much as i liked wearing my lovely new pieces, i was making more and more and needed to start finding new homes for these pieces! and there You Nique You was born.

I chose the name as i like to do individual unique pieces and even if i replicate them, they would be different due to the nature of the pieces.

Things have changed since i started out of that box, i now have a nice family home, have married and have two gorgeous children, i no longer work from a box but a lovely converted loft above my kitchen.

I have since created my signature peices, the "Lucy" cuff, named as one of the presenters of Jewellerymaker fell in love with it, her name? guess.... and my wire sculpture pendants, two pieces of wire twirled, swirled and interlocked to create a pendant and of course, maybe the odd bead added her and there :)
